The Bama – People of the Rainforest (1992) based on Timothy’s 1990 MA (Qualifying) thesis, ‘Djarrugan the Last of the Nesting, a Revisionist Interpretation of Aboriginal-European Relations in the Cairns Rainforest Region Up to 1876′ and explodes many misconceptions about our past treatment and interaction with our region’s own Indigenous people. Originally conceived as the script for the audio presentation, The World of the Bama. The script morphed into the booklet.
